Terms of Service

These terms set out the conditions for using this website and for enrolling on a course with LocalVisa English Courses. By using this site or submitting a registration form, you agree to them.

Acceptable use

Use of this website

You may use this site for lawful purposes only. Reading course pages, comparing levels, checking fees and submitting an enquiry are all fine. What is not fine is trying to break the site, sending us information you know is untrue, or running automated tools to copy our content without asking.

Where we see misuse — scraping, spam submissions, or anything that interferes with the site or other visitors — we may suspend access. If you need course information for a legitimate purpose, email us and we will help you get it.

Course pages, level guidance and fees are reviewed under our course information policy so the version you read here is the one that applies.

Course information

Current version on this site applies

Course descriptions, level guidance, timetables and fees are published in good faith and reviewed under our course information policy. Where a detail changes, the current version on this site applies.

  • Website course pages

Descriptions, levels, formats and fees — the published page is the reference while you are deciding.

    Reference only

  • Written confirmation at enrolment

Confirmed dates, fees and formats are those stated in writing when your place is agreed and your fee is paid.

From enquiry to place

Registration and enrolment

Submitting a registration form is an enquiry, not a completed enrolment. A contract is formed only when we confirm your place in writing and any applicable fee is paid.

We may decline an application where a course is full or where the requested level is not available. In that case we will tell you plainly and suggest the closest alternative intake or level.

A registration enquiry includes

First name
As it appears on your ID or passport.
Surname
Used to match your enquiry to your place.
Email
Where we send level guidance and next steps.
Phone
UK or international. Used only to answer your enquiry.

Your place is confirmed in writing

Until you receive written confirmation, treat your booking as provisional. Written confirmation states the course, level, dates, format and fee that apply.

Fees, changes and cancellation

Fees, payment methods accepted and cancellation terms are stated in writing at enrolment. Your written confirmation is the record that governs what you pay and by when.

  • If we cancel a course

You will be offered an alternative at the same level or a refund of fees paid for the affected sessions. You choose which.

  • If you change course or level

Contact us with your course and level details and we will confirm what is possible — including any fee difference — before you agree to it.

  • If you cannot attend a session

Tell your tutor or the office as soon as you know. Make-up arrangements depend on the format and are confirmed case by case.

Intellectual property

Content on this site, including text and course materials provided during a course, belongs to LocalVisa English Courses or is used with permission. You may not reproduce or redistribute it commercially without written consent.

The materials supplied to you during a course — handouts, exercise packs, pronunciation guides, exam practice — are for your own study use. Sharing them with a friend who is preparing on their own is fine in most cases; reposting them online, selling them, or handing them to another provider is not.

If you want to use our content in a school project, a teaching context or a publication, email info@localvisa.digital and we will tell you what we can agree in writing.

In plain terms

Your study materials are yours to learn from. Our published course content and site copy stay ours. Both sides ask before the other uses the other's work commercially.

Liability

We provide the website and course information as they are. We are not responsible for interruptions outside our reasonable control — network outages, power cuts, or events beyond what we can plan for — or for decisions you make based on third-party content we link to.

Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. We may update them; the current version is published on this page.

Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms. If you are enrolled on a course, the version in force when your place was confirmed still applies to that enrolment.
